Dang I look tan!
Tonight is Open House at SCCL and I can't make it. Tomorrow is my little sister's birthday (17!) and we're celebrating tonight. I hope those of you who do go have a great time!!
Much Love.

Now isn't that cool?? Don't you just want to sign up and take my class?? It will be a lot of fun. I promise! Log on to http://www.santaclaritacraftlab.com/
A couple of weeks ago we (the SSCL instructors) got together to do "mock classes" to practice our teaching skills and you guys I have to tell you these classes are just too much fun! I hope I can sneak my way into some of them!
Here are some pictures of Erin's patchwork painting class - isn't it awesome?? One of my favorites classes so far.

This last one above was done by Cyndi and she named her "Sweet Girl"
For some reason I can't upload pics at the moment but I will try again later. The pictures I wanted to share with you are of two other classes being offered at SCCL Birds of a Feather and Softies in Wonderland. Both classes are hand sewn projects - let me tell you this was another thing I thought I couldn't do and again I have surprised myself! I am having so much fun laughing, crafting, hanging out with great friends and finding out how much I can really do! This has truly been a time of self discovery! I will no longer say that I can't do something without first trying and I am going to stop putting limits on myself. NO MAS! (No more!)
Until next time.... One Love
Above is a picture of Sonya (she's the one wearing that funky blue scarf) teaching us this cool beading technique which is called branching- its soo easy and it all it requires are some funky beads, wire, wire cutters and an imagination-easy enough right? Actually it took Sonya having to explain to me how to twist the wire around the bead about 3 times before I actually got it but you know what they say...3rd times’ a charm...and that's exactly what I made... a necklace charm! haha. I can't wait to to apply what Sonya taught me and make some matching earrings! What do you think?
P.S. Thanks Cyndi for the letting me steal your pictures, another thing I learned from attending this Craft Mafia meeting is to make sure I bring my camera!
